Kottaiyur is about 8 kms from Karaikudi and is famous for this beautiful temple. Unfortunately I went there at late afternoon when it was closed ..so had to be satisfied with a few snaps from the exterior.
hello ashok!! thanx for visiting my native and our temple. can i correct it as "5 k.m. from Karaikudi on Karaikkudi to Trichy Road". temple opens:7a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4p.m to 7.30p.m. on all ordinary days. Please see the sculptures inside which are really amazing. Our temple always keep clean. - Yoganandh Kathiresan.
